"Coding is like painting to me. I think it’s a sort of art."
Before doing Le Wagon and working as a software developer at YAP, Simon Guertin used to be director of operations for an insurance broker.
“I had a lot of responsibility for this and I felt quite young for those responsibilities.”
He wanted to go back to doing what he loved: creating software and developing products. What really attracted him to join Le Wagon was the curriculum:
"It’s not only focused on what you’ll learn as a coder, but on soft skills as well, on how you can take a product from conception to release. I would definitely recommend Le Wagon, for entrepreneurs, people who are looking for a change in their career. For anyone looking for an amazing time and amazing experience or once in a lifetime change."
In his daily life, he reuse what he learned from Le Wagon all the time. How he tackles the problems that he faces in his job, how he communicates with his team of developers, and more generally, with all his colleagues.
“I do that Le Wagon way, now.”
